Q. i am flying to Jamaica in August with air jamaica and was wondering about anything I can and cannot take in and out of the counry. No I don't plan to do anything illegal but would like to know If I can bring back alcohol, clothing, gifts etc... Also what are the baggage limits and fees I can;t find them anywhere. Thanks

A. Your allowed to bring one carton of ciggs and either one possibly two fifths of alcohol. You can't really bring back any fruit or vegetables besides coffee. I don't believe there's a limit on how much coffee you can bring back. Lots of people bring gifts for the locals or school supplies for the kids their. If you declare it you might have to pay taxes on it, don't put anything on the customs form, why should you pay to help others in their country.
